Cocoon Homes Terms & Conditions
Please read the terms and conditions carefully.
Once you have booked your stage, these terms and conditions come into effect.
They are for the hire of furniture accessories and props together with the placement and styling of your property.
| HIRING FURNITURE USE | The hired furniture is for staging purpose only. Use of furniture is strictly prohibitted unless agreed upon. Violation of this will incur charge for the value of the hired furniture. |
| PAYMENTS | Payment is to be made five days before staging or installation of furniture. The price is always GST exclusive unless otherwise stated. We will send you an invoice with payment instruction. In case of payment default, you are reliable to pay any costs incurred through payment collection process. |
| ACCESS | Details including keys, alarm codes and access details need to be communicated at the time of booking. It is important for us to have water and power in order to complete our work. |
| DELIVERY and SET UP | Staging or installation of items is included in the price. We style homes with items that we believe in our professional opinion, to be appropriate for the property, its location and the buyer/tenant demographic. We are happy to provide changes and extra items; however, there may be additional payment required. |
| PICK UP | The pick up of items is included in the price of home staging service. |
| INITIAL HIRE PERIOD FOR STAGING | Runs for a minimum non-refundable period of FIVE weeks from the delivery date. No refund of the Initial Hire Fee will be given should the client cancel this agreement or request removal of the goods before the end of the Initial Hire Period. |
| EXTENSION OF HIRE PERIOD | It is often possible, and if you wish to extend this agreement beyond the Initial Hire Period, we will invoice at a pro-rata rate which we will discuss with you the vendor. We like to keep in touch to see how you are going. |
| CANCELLATION | There may be an admin fee of $200 if the stage or furniture installation is cancelled with short notice. |
| INSURANCE FOR STAGED HOMES | Where the Client has acted in such a way that causes Cocoon Homes to suffer loss or damage, the client will pay any liability resulting from this. |
| All hired items shall be covered against loss or accidental damage by Cocoon Homes Ltd insurance at no additional charge. | |
| The client is required to notify Cocoon Homes Ltd of any loss or damage to the Goods immediately. | |
| INSURANCE FOR FURNITURE INSTALLATIONS | Cocoon Homes will ensure that installations are carried out to a standard that ensures items are in working and reasonable condition. Insurance is at the sole discretion and responsibility of the client. |
| STAGING CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY | All staging items are for display purposes only and cannot be used for any other purpose. All items are props and are not for general use. |
| Hired items shall not be used or moved or relocated within the property or removed by the client from the property. | |
| The Goods shall remain the Property of Cocoon Homes Ltd. | |
| Should Cocoon Homes Ltd need to move or store furniture on behalf of the Client; Cocoon Homes Ltd will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage or hold any insurance over the Clients goods while it is in Cocoon Homes Ltd’s possession. | |
| Property damage is sometimes unavoidable. Cocoon Homes staff take all reasonable steps to make sure there is no damage to your property, however, Cocoon Homes Limited will not be liable for any minor damage caused by the installation of staging items, e.g. picture hook marks, carpet indents, damage from open home traffic or small wall scrapes. |
Please note that by paying for your staging or furniture installation with Cocoon Homes that you agree to these terms and conditions.
